Interesting. So, presumably this is an easy way to buy shares trading on the Stockholm Exchange? Can you pretty much buy shares trading on any foreign exchange through IB?

E*Trade has a similar facility for trading foreign stocks on the home exchange, but I’ve never used it. One concern is that the asset protection from SIPC and/or private insurance may be less robust than the protection you get in your “regular” brokerage account.
