Some say its better to be lucky than good :-)! I got back last night and I'm a little sore but rejuvenated nonetheless. I love the BWCA for the solitude, fabulous star gazing, fishing (not necessarily catching, however, LOL), paddling, portaging, and the chance to share God's fabulous creation with a few other souls who have not had the experience. It was also nice to have my son carry the canoe on the 155 rod portage! (A "rod" is 16', and is meant to be the length of a canoe, so the portage was about 1/2 mile)
And I have NO idea where the market is heading on Monday, and that’s OK for now as I have a couple days to consider, but suffice it to say my WAG will not even be close to the cloud high guess for last Friday, which looked ridiculous as I was reading the messages, LOL!
