PDUFA dates are deadlines for the FDA to approve new drugs. The FDA is normally given 10 months to review new drugs. If a drug is selected for priority review then 6 months is allotted. These times begin from the date a NDA is submitted.

"PDUFA" – standing for the Prescription Drug User Fee Act!

As Mentioned in the previous post! Short periods before this date occurs will typically send a biomed or pharma stock higher. Until the FDA Deciosion date. And you know what happens if they send a complete reponse letter )CRL) or If they give an approval! This can cause the stock to plummet or skyrocket for small cap stocks!
