I don't mean any offense, but I find that to be the motto of the lazy.
You have more than just a single chance to get involved in this country's political system, but most people just wait until the general election, when they have a choice between two candidates.
You can also get involved at the primary level, and even before that at the local level. Most national candidates begin at the state or regional offices.
Voting is the essense of our democracy. Those who choose not to get involved... shouldn't complain.
