The reason they all bought bikes was because it was the thing to do. You know .... A FAD! Pathetic American consumers are so tossed by the wind. They are whimpy, lack conviction, mousey, sheepy and they do exactly what they are told to do by marketers. This year it was fad diets and bikes and poker, next year it will be something else and each of these will be ancient history. Never fails.
I assure you those bikes are not getting used and will not get used. They may keep them if they actually think they won't be able to afford gas, but since these idiots are not thinking that far down the line, they will sell their unused bikes at a huge loss just when they should be buying a bike to get around on. Mark my words!
