i wouldn't short the stock based on this guy's article There is a reasonable chance that this trial will fail, but it doesn't kill the amyloid hypothesis IMHO. All the recent science has pointed to a 15-20yr abnormal increase in beta amyloid prior to dementia. These trials in mild to moderate AD are the end stage of a long disease process. Anti-amyloid therapies need to be given earlier in the disease and for a much longer period.
