For now, Agylix is private. Keating will be pushing them to go public later this year, by all appearances.
Like JBI, I imagine they will fail, too.
It will be a good short when they IPO, just like JBI is now.
IMO, the real money in plastic recycling is in re-use -- using old plastic to make new plastic goods -- not in turning it into fuel. That business model is a real technology breakthrough and is already finding willing and happy customers.
Pyrolysis has been around forever, hasn't been proven to be profitable yet, and it's highly doubtful it ever will be, no matter how large or small the scale.
So far, JBI has just burned millions of shareholder dollars on a PIPE dream. JBI is a "me too" company pretending to do something green.
Trade it, don't marry it.
