yeah i noticed that too...no bids at 16 or 18...it is almost like someone wants to erode confidence in the company by representing its value as artificial....baseless promotion, mindless drivel...

...i hate that when anyone types in HPGS into a search engine this is the 1st site that pops up...

I called the below contact number and it appeared the older person I spoke with had no idea what caused the rise in stock price. They weren't sure if they were reporting earnings or not and patched me through to a voicemail (extension 13 if memory serves me correctly). I called the investor relations folks and they stated they no longer work for High Plains Gas. Interesting. Again, this is just my personal opinion and no one should consider it as anything more than opinion; suggest you do your own homework on this one.

Well ya know, if they put out a PR to say "why" and the price went up, then eveyone would say price was just going up on a pump.

And I seriously think this rise has nothing to do with when earnings are expected.

Just look at the global and U.S. headlines / videos over the last 4-8 weeks, you'll start to understand the "why" when you once again recall that HPGS is focusing on the construction and servicing of the gas and oil companies in North Dakota, Wyoming, and the states bordering the south and southeast of Wyoming where the new oil & gas discovery was just found in the last year, I forget the name of it, it's in a post of mine from December I believe. I don't have that many posts.
