The day we got that volume the price was moving quite a bit...it's easy to see how just a few flippers could move millions of shares several times within a day. One guy on this board was claiming he was moving 10M shares by himself, if there are just a couple of these types out there they could easily flip those shares more than once a day and this would inflate the volume well over the float. JMO

You always have to keep in mind that the number of shares is based on buy / sell activity. for instance, If I buy a million shares and turn around and do a quick flip, that same million shares would then cause the volume to be two million. As for the PPS the stock does actually move, but it appears that you are looking for a PPS spike...not the normal daily activity movement.
