LOL...that would make this market much too easy. Z won't short, so I have to take up his slact. Frankly, I think RMBS has capped its run...volume peaked today ~10:00 and has been tailing off ever since. Lotta new bagholders in the 13s and hi 12s, and they'll panic if we near the 11s.
I think it's a mistake to try to figure out the legal ins-and-outs of the situation. As a trader, I pretty much ignore the fundies...after all, reality is of little consequence in such short time frames. It's perception that matters and perception moves the herd. The chart is saying the buying is done 'til there's sumfin' more concrete (like, "We're starting to collect $1bn in past due royalties", or another court decision). It beats me how anyone can read what a judge writes and extrapolate it to revenues, or lack thereof.
