Such an offer would undoubtedly be welcomed by MNTA because a) it would boost its share price in the near term and b) it would allow them to make hay during the litigation process by saying that WPI was trying to short circuit MNTA's attempts to enforce its patent rights.
I think most MNTA shareholders would reject the price, however.
