o my , i need kick myself for forgetting Yul--i would not have given him the quote but Yul was a presence in anything he was in--given that photo i have to say Yul was the fastest gun part.
in case you didn't know, Yul was born in Manchuria.

Looked up cast now and see i really went "blankers" on Yul, he was the main man, egad!:) i now have a yearning to see it again.
I know Horst but can't remember him in the movie--Harry Luck/ Brad Dexter--i can't remember Dexter period.
Sokoloff i did remember--i had his visage in my head, but i can say i never knew his name.

Yul again: Yul Bryner is the ONLY person that made before he died a campaign commercial against smoking to be released AFTER he died.
So you see Yul tough and cool saying he is soon to be a deadman as he has terminal lung cancer and talking about his being a heavy smoker and to look at him and get the message smoking kills.
i smoke BTW:)(and my sister, bless her, bless her, died of lung cancer in 2000 at the age of 65---it was a brutal death---not a good thing can be said about her dying---it was a crucifixtion.
p.s. People don't believe this but i have not inhaled in 34 years---a fact.
