The "rumor" about the liquid versions was well over a year ago when motor booster was first talked about. I recall messages (here or on Yahoo) with reasonable detail about how he was able to get the rights compared to someone much bigger and more able to promote the product. This was because the liquid rights were the ones most sought after.
If I can find anything I will post it but it isn't relevant unless they can both use the same name (and hence feed off each others marketing).
