I've seen videos of Savanna's Magic who is supposedly the tallest domestic cat on record, however she isn't truly considered a domestic cat as she is an F1.
I don't know much about Savanna cats as they are a recent breeding effort. I only educated myself about Bengals after realizing the cat I took in as a foster was one. His owner had died and he was alone with her body for 3 days before police found them and had animal control take him to a shelter. He was such a big and unusual looking cat that people were reluctant to take him so I took him home with me.
He was originally very shut down due to the trauma but I was able to reach him by doing slow love-blinks. He immediately understood and blinked back every time I blinked at him. It was cat language and he began to feel secure. He started bringing his teaser wand to me and dropping it at my feet wanting me to play with him. I was so touched by how he bonded so quickly with me that I knew I had to keep him. We still do love blinks to each other all the time. My female also responds with them but not 100% of the time like he does. I don't think her former owner did them.
