The key factor for him is strength rather than length. He has been talking about the Dow rallying to 8300 or so before the next leg down.

Though not mentioned in his market alert, Saville had previously opined that if the markets do not have a decent bounce despite being very oversold -- the stage would be set for a big drop in the near future.

Looks like that scenario may come to pass if we do not rebound strongly by the close today.
