Mr. Brown has successfully built and operated other businesses in this vertical already. He founded Investors Hub in 2000 to focus on a market that was being under-served in the online financial discussion space. The technology and concepts he and Bob Zumbrunnen developed to penetrate the market led to IH becoming large enough to acquire Silicon Investor, IH’s largest competitor, in May 2003. Both companies are profitable and growing.
