I have a feeling Consumer Confidence will be quite a bit weaker than expected, but that may be overlooked later in the day as investors begin focusing on the upcoming pres. speech. If talks about giving Iraq more time continue through tomorrow, investors may be able to focus more on the economic stimulus plan.

Your asking to bad news to come quickly and severely IMO. Construction is still strong and retail sales didn't tank that badly to throw economy in recession.
