i do not know. all of this seems to be a shell game, in which the US says it wants to look, then does not, russia says it is never satisfied.

I remeber just after 9/11, some one looked up the history of the Marine Anthem and Thomas Jefferson. The seas of Tripoli were infested with islamic pirates who attacked American Navy ships and the sultan forced conversion or beheading, so jefferson sent in the marines.

It sounds like the UN added some credibility to Bush's stance on Iraq today. Blix detailed many unanswered questions regarding Iraq's weapons program, and more games than answers on the part of Iraq. Bush may have obscured the real issue by his seeming eagerness to go to war with Iraq. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the international arena.
