Bob and Churak, re: "We must be right."
I don't think so. In programming and some other professions, it's important to categorize things neatly, to make rules, and to apply them. It's not like that with humans.
The striking thing about humans is their ability to contravene any rule you can devise. We are constantly inundated with examples, from our largest accounting firms to the freaks whose sole purpose is to disrupt iHub. You can't make rules to stop them, but you can, with good judgment, decide who you will allow to participate here. That is what has been done up to this point ... and that is what should be done in the future.
You can not simply disregard the multitude of posters who came to iHub and proclaimed their delight at the way this site is managed. We have seen a constant stream of new members bragging they are not harassed or annoyed here. You can't overlook such overwhelming evidence of Matt's successful management.
Things may not be done, decisions may not be reached, in the clean, orderly way that appeals to you. Instead, they are done in a better way. They are done with judgment and with humanity.
And, incidentally, Silicon Investor is no paragon of virtue. I'm here at iHub because Silicon Investor and Raging Bull and other sites I visited did NOT provide the well-managed, caring, responsive interest in the members that shines at iHub. To change that would be criminal.
