JMKel, the link you provided does not work. You are talking about SIA, yet the link is for http://www.semi.org/ which is the organization of semi equipment makers. Their monthly report is in the 'press room' at the above link. A 7 year chart of their data is here http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=697315

The semi equipment btb for December was 0.98

The SIA site is here http://www.semichips.org/home.cfm and they will report world wide chip sales [but no btb] next week, probably.
