The whole quotation thing is a John Hollen special. When I said that, it was meant specifically to him and his absolulte headache-inducing use of words I've never heard of and the way he uses quotation marks(..."....[word]...."....). Go read his past posts and you'll get the full picture of what I mean. I don't know how much you've communicated with him in the past.
The only thing I've kicked up a fuss about is the Reply feature. And with legitimate reason -- it greatly hinders my ability to Admin the site.

I have not communicated with John until the last few days. The communication between us only started because of the confusing sudden change to the MDC rules is all.

The whole your/you're/etc is a Jail joke with Monkeyboy.
Outside of that, I'm unclear what it is that you think I'm getting aggrevated about. I'm generally pretty patient with folks. I don't think you are properly following the conversations or are aware of the past history of the various statements I sometimes make (especially towards John and Joemoney) specifically to those individuals. Which is why I use the Reply function to communicate with them.

I know that you are patient with folks. I have seen you be VERY PATIENT with me on occasion. And I appreciate that! My comments are only in reply to your original question about whether you should maintain your "humorous personality" (Their [note the misspelling!] go the quotes again...LOL!) or to become more dead pan serious as you eluded that Bob wishes that you do.

I think ....THINK.....that what Bob is trying to suggest to you is that you develop a more MILITARY MANNER in dealing with posters as the website grows. I think that he is suggesting to you is that rules are rules and when you tend to flex and bend to the rules too much it subtracts from the professionalism. See?

I even see that Bob himself has admitted that he needs to improve in this same fashion...(as it relates to the recent MDC).

This is all good stuff to discuss, and will ultimately only help IHUB to grow!
