Ulterior motive?

How about since day one last year when I started investing in this company based on information and due diligence about this company, all looked good. The company had some merit if they in fact had what they say they had. So I bought. I sit here for a little over a year and one thing after another goes wrong with the management of TORVEC. Insiders selling all along with the exception of 500 shares by Read. The investors and the people on this site question why things are happening. They get labelled "shorts" among many other things. They raise questions and the moderator quells these questions by removing posts and booting people from the site. The cheerleaders put positive spins on any and all infomation either dug up, heard on the street, or found illegally. When further questioned the chealeaders say you should "see a doctor" or "sell". I as an investor in this company don't want to be labelled "dumb" like Dodge was. I have an average price just below $6.00 and cannot afford to sell based on information that is released. All that I request is some honest management telling us the facts as they are. I don't want words like "possible letters of intent". Either there is or there isn't. I want results on things as they come. I would expect that at a minimum. "Honesty is the best policy" and someone is lying.

Atl, The problem here is who do you believe? It's tough to remain positive when it appears you can't trust anyone. I don't know what to believe at this point. If you put Carlisle's latest letter of resignation with Torvec's response, you see two positions which are miles apart and have many conflicting statements. Someone here is not telling the truth. So which postion do you go with? I have no clue myself. If what Carlisle said is false, is he not setting himself up for a lawsuit? What does he have to gain at this point? I think what I'm left with is more questions than answers. It's always easy to blame the guys who are gone.
