You guys don't get much snow so i guess companies pay per snowfall and not for the season? You must make good coin when it snows though. Here it's all seasonal contracts. $250- $300 for a single residential driveway for the season. Great business to get into, but very competitive over here. These snow removal companies are making a killing so far this year here considering this was the first real snowfall this winter.
