Omar Deghayes, Former Guantanamo Detainee, Lost Use Of Eye Due To Torture

Former Guantanamo detainee Omar Deghayes came on HuffPost Live Tuesday to discuss his experience being tortured and how he lost sight in one eye at the hands of American guards at Guantanamo Bay.

"When they came to your cell and beat you up, they would hold you down on the floor and then the guard would press three fingers into your eyes," Deghayes told HuffPost Live host Marc Lamont Hill.

"Many people became injured in their eyes -- and with my eye, I already had problems with it and I lost sight completely."
