Besides our support for Iraq against Iran and the Gulf War, we also have El Salvador, Grenada, Panama, Somalia, and Afghanistan in 2001. Did I miss any ? I won't include US military support for activities in Chile and Angola.

Imagine how Americans would feel if the Russians or Chinese were going around the world and doing these things.
