Yonah is supposed to make it "nearly impossible" for Turion to increase market share in the range where it (Yonah) competes. In a market that´s growing as fast as notebooks, this means expanding sales and profits for INTEL in that segment. And that´s the part of the PC market where the money is/is shifting to these days.
You meant the I2 - the endless Itanic story.
I´ll never understand why people keep talking about it. Maybe it´s just to keep chipguy busy, I don´t know.
