just for me ....a 'thought' implanted in my head about twenty some years ago .. I was in late twenties early thirties ..that having to kill something wonderful and beautiful (unnecessarily) so that I could eat ... started working on me .......I ignored it ..went on fasts etc.. . but the implant never left ..then the age of personal computers ... jeeeeze getting harder and harder to IGNORE ..PLUS WORSE details about ALL the HORROR of it ! ........NOW, the environment, we had a meatless thanksgiving ... we haven't been eating meat completely for two years or so now ......don't miss it at all, personally, I haven't had a piece of chicken in ages .. and EGGS used to one of my favorites .. get eaten very very rarely .... we've lost our taste ... and yes, lots of beans rice protein drinks etc.. potatoes and SOUPS in the winter and SALADS in the summer ... it's working for us ... IF I could ... I would .......but those 'thoughts' and now 'photos' come into my head and they JUST will not leave .....and even the thought of meat now, and (right now) makes my stomach clench .. ridiculous huh ? ... maybe someone somewhere who is starving could be getting my portions .. ;) I LIKE to think that anyway ...............;)
Damn! those health food stores I used to hang out at a long time ago!
