or it could be from the inventory of movies QTN's been accumulating...and not from show material. All of this I bet has storage fees associated with it...on here! on RCN it's a movie selection...16 movies, and another section with 2 shows

QTN features a movie of the month. So far Crutch and Thelma have been featured...they may consider sending these to VOD, but that will be difficult to do unless they set up the same arrangement with RCN (maybe)

Chrisanne mentioned 'to wait and see the results of the OUTFEST attendance and purchases'. She mentioned this last night...maybe some would come from there...

edit:

Frank said we have 30 hours in the can so far:

Video on demand is very expensive to record and have available to people. Right now, we have 30 hours available. It is available 24 hours a day,7 days a week, but it is the same 30 hours.

tw, Also, when you don't subscribe to a channel like HBO, or Showtime if you want to watch a show you have to pay a fee. I forget what it was since I get all the channels now. HereTv on RCN does not let you buy one movie, it gives a message that you have to subscribe for $8.95 a month. Interesting that with limited offerings they charge a dollar more than QTN which is $7.95 a month. So, when QTN does start to offer VOD on RCN I will know what it is they are going to offer, either only free to subscribers or non-subscribers will be able to purchase one program for a fee of $3.99 like the other stations charge.
