Yes, but once you give them to your Broker, they send em to the T/A to verify and then, it goes to your Broker. The Broker then adds them to your account for trade. It still lies with the T/A first. Once the T/a takes your shares out, they are gone from the mix. They can't be shorted, they really can't be traded on any market.
The free float is Sept. 30, 2011- 398,913,739 I bet if enough of us were able to call for our shares in paper form, It would stop with 160mm shares. 80mm being stuck and another 80mm as vapor with no lagitamite creation. And all hell breaking lose on wall street. Maybey even make National news.
They made $1million selling assests, they can at least keep the comunication open common share holders. I have to assume no one has talked with anyone. I'll be calling Monday and will report
