Love the buttons. Maybe you don't need them on the bottom as well as on the top. Just a thought, not a biggie. Also, would it make more sense for the Mark As Last Unread to be called Mark As Last Read? I tried it, it is helpful.


In edit: possible bug: When I read the last message on this thread (the one by NoMoDo) and then went back to Favorites, the counter hadn't reset. That's new I think.

In further edit: yep, I repeated this one on Zeev's thread. I went to Favorites and saw a new post on Turnips. I clicked on Turnips, not on New Unread, and got a new post. Then I returned to Favorites and saw 1 new unread post listed. Went back to the thread, but it was the same post.

Bob, I love the change in taking the "post new" off the individual posts. I got a friend that always used to post replies as new messages and it drove me crazy. That and when someone finally replied to me, I didn't get the benefit of hearing Meg's voice telling me I had mail.

As for the new Interface thing, that is pretty cool too. I just found the link to the color scheme at the bottom of the interface page and messed around a little. Might I suggest that people try Matt's favorite, add the raised button feature and change the color of the menu background color to #9933cc (a darker purple). Your brown color was just a bit to dull, but Matt's had too much blue.

I love the "Mark as last unread" feature.

Lots of times I am in the middle of reading 50 unread messages when I have to get up and do something. You should be mighty proud of yourself for thinking this one up.

I have one more suggestion that you might consider, something I have privately wished for for a long time. Referring to the Button menu at the top of the page, it seems to me that the entire button should be hot, not just the text. Especially in 3D, it would really be slick to click on a button and have it actually appear to depress....kind of like the OK button in most Windows applications, or the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of your screen.
