I think that a majority of those who have registered (...due to the large amount of invitations that have gone out from ALL the MDC participants...) will, over time, migrate here and begin participating in a meaningful way.
Several of the people in my list are board-supporting mainstays from SI. They simply haven't begun to bias towards iHub from SI yet. My opinion is supported by the past migration of THE GOLDEN LIST mob from SI. That group used to post 100+ per day on SI, now it's 40-% SI and 60+% iHub. By the end of '03, I believe TGL on SI will be a tomb.
The MDC began just prior to Christmas, when nobody is really in a mood to make significant changes in their lives due to the personal matters on their mind related to the Judeo/Christian celebrations and the standard end of year debauchery and football events associated with New Years.
The IDCC gang has moved over here from RavingBullschmidt, and I've noticed some babysitting taking place - but it seems to have mellowed a bit already from whence it came.
As '03 progresses, and more people who registered on a whim to snag a FREE membership begin to see the level of quality and fact-finding that goes on over here, they too will migrate - and be assimilated. Oh my, I guess that makes you and the Large One a part of the BORG COLLECTIVE.....!!!!
So, eventually 100+/- from RB, Agora, Stockhouse, SI, etc., (..after a tad of culling..) will be just as valuable, if not more so, than a couple of Matt's handpicked gurus - because the latter are usually as dry as toast and a crashing bore with a sense of humor akin to Quasimodo (IMHO).
