Insect regulators wouldn't have to worry about covering their butts (because they can see 360 degrees) so they'll approve based on the science and not on political considerations.

LOL re the wraparound eyes. I would submit that a very small proportion of drug approvals by the FDA and other regulatory agencies is materially affected by political considerations.
