I agree...and feel all public companies should be required to file audited financials with the SEC. However, Bayport has never said that was their plan, at least not at this stage. Their goal is to simply achieve current status with OTC Markets, a private entity, with no GAAP reporting requirements or standards. Better than nothing if they ever get current, but far from as good as being an SEC filer.
Further, contrary to what some have tried to claim, the SEC does not review doc's that are filed with pink sheets (OTC Mkts). Nor do they review docs as they're filed on Edgar. In both cases, should they reason to investigate a company, then they will surely look at anything and everything.
