No problem - my posts were not in any way directed at you, for I have no idea what you believe. Only God knows what a person truly believes and He is the judge of all. It is not up to me (or any man) to judge or to say whether another is saved or not - and for that I am thankful. All I was trying to do was to respond to your questions with what the Bible teaches, assuming you take what it says in its normal, literal sense.
As for Swaggart, Fallwell, Baker, and so many other televangelists, they too will have to answer before God for all they have done, both good and evil, and it is not up to me to judge them either. I can say with certainty that many televangelists teach doctrine that is in error and against what the Bible itself teaches. For that they will have to answer, and the Bible also teaches that those who teach are held to a higher standard - if they pervert scripture for their own benefit, they are in deep trouble when they stand before God.
The only television and radio teacher/pastors that I personally think are completely straight with scripture are Adrian Rogers, Chuck Swindoll, and John MacArthur, but I must stress that I watch very few of them so I am sure there are more. But those three I can recommend without reservation.
Again, my posts were not directed at you or anybody else - my apologies if you felt otherwise.
