Are you aware that in the new Bush tax cut proposal that SUV's get a bigger tax cut. I guess when Bush uttered these words he really meant it. Who woulda thunk we shouda learnt better.

I tried to see a point you were making, but was unable - might be a lack of coffee on my part. Your last statement:

suggests that we are in Iraq over oil? I believe that Desert Storm was highly motivated by oil. I believe that Bush senior fooled Sadaam into thinking we would look the other way if he invaded Kuwait and then used that as a club to beat him with. I do not believe that oil plays a substantial role this time.
