TY I realize that
The other reason I see is that shares are limited so it's difficult for pps to move with little volume.
There could be a lot of longs in the free trading float.I would think that alot of peopel want to hold and ride it long term.
Thats the one short term negative..but it also represents a long term positive.I am a little surprised at the recent swing but then again the whole mining segment has taken a beating.Thats why i dont angst over price as mush as I do reserves.Real Reserves. Many of these companies can't report reserves and may not have them. What I try to do is speak to teh Geologits directly. They like to talk to peopel that know what they are saying.I also have a finance background so its easy for me to interpret data. Most of the financial people especially in IR dont know geology so it givees me a little bit of an advatadge.
Amount of Reserves
Debt
Funding
Reserves
O/S Shares
The tough one is the Geology
A very important thing is who the Geologists are
As an example Ive seen some big Gold guys go to another compamy and the price will rocket and sometimes stay high w/o the reserves
Especially in a case like ABX.They won't even consider a property with less than two ounces
Also we are seeing companies like Newmont doing JVs without knwoing as much reserve data if they are located in the geology they are familiar with and already operating in.Logistics make it a better gambel
Along with long term price projection.Newmont CEO told me Gold is cheap at $1300.. I agree with him.I dont like to predict because most people laugh at me when I give 1-7 year out look.Depending upon what happens with The Federal Reserve Note..I mean if it reamains Gold will never go under 1500 again.Unless the dollar is replaced. The Federal Reserve will never be able to reign in the balance sheet.Volkler rule will never be put into place. The only thing I see happening long term is replacement of the US Dollar. How? Who knows.
My plan is Stay in Gold now..later rare earths,industrials,potash..
I'm not that excited about Oil.The big oil companies have a monopoly
I worked at Exxon a long time ago.Hard to find low price oil opportunity
Especially when you have so many reserves still producing with low cost
Every time you turn around there is another discovery in low cost geology. If you understand oil formation which most dont you realize there is a huge amount of fossil fuel deposits on earth.
One other problem I see is Political Stability. Some of these 3rd world countries may not be safe to invest in.I try to stay away but in reality almost every country is decreasing in safety except for canada and Australia. These western govts are in serious trouble
Third world is going to suffer even more.

Concur with Rocket on promotion effect. This is a very exciting stock to those that can value a stock. So the only way it .85 is that few who can value are aware of it.

The big spikes up were due to promotion not news. News can get ignored for 3-5 days, have seen that. But do not really want BULM to do paid mailer promotions because it wears off and brings in less informed types. They did the New Orleans gold show recently, good idea but did not seem to cause much buying. They are friustrated like we are.

So getting to pro microcap imnvestors/funds likley the best. Players that can buy $million+ and tell their friends.

However great results does get noticed eventually so if they continue the profit growth things will take care of themselves.

Cheers
