#3042 RE: Mr. Ed #3040

Of course mistakes happen. However, our fighting in Afghanistan a backward nation where travel is difficult and stories hard to obtain about what truly happened with all those Afghanistan civilians. From what I hear more died in Afghanistan than on 9-11 yet where is our outrage at them dieing at our hands. We have grown so numb to death in war that we deem it acceptable as if it's some video game.

Hopefully someone takes out Saddam or else innocent civilian blood will flow that makes 9-11 look like a walk in the park and we still won't care.

Sox-in warfare mistakes happen,I thought you were talking about DELIBERATE targeting of civilians, which we no longer do.

Mr. Ed, Isn't that sort of like saying, "Yes, but I didn't beat my wife today!"? War has alway been about destroying populations. It is ugly and inhumane. I can think of no better argument for Darwinism.
