We can agree to disagree on the assembly process, it's semantics.
What I find interesting is: How one could think otherwise, at any point in their DD, your supposed visits to the factory and "attendance" of the shareholder tour, that one didn't realize the company imported these parts as single-item (not yet finished products), is beyond me.
QC'ing occurs with the LED lighting assembly, the wind turbine and other electronic components, which is clearly pointed out in this CNN article, and on-line audio:
The wind turbine, batteries, LED light and solar panels are all bought from overseas companies and imported to the United States. They are imported as finished products and NOT assembled at the factory in Baltimore...that is FACT!!

Every picture I have seen of an eco-pole has just that...A POLE. The turbine, lamp, and solar panel are attached to this pole as separate components so they could not possibly be imported as a "finished product", therefore needing assembly somewhere. It is fact they are shipped as finished components.
