CharleyMike, the Lownumba 2003 Platform is a work in progress. I'm a person with far more questions than answers. One thing of which I am convinced: This society is not the perfect meritocracy that some here apparently believe it to be. Those with superior wealth and standing have not always come to that lofty status as a result of greater intelligence and toil. Some are born on third base; some never get up to bat. The former is a natural result of a free enterprise, and I do not begrudge it to them. The latter, in my view, is a failure of our system and is worthy of redress.
