What you point to was there for quite some number of months, the voters had a choice in November and it seems they decided that is the way (for now) to handle it. They'll have another chance in less than two years. Let the system work, it has relatively well, so far....

I agree. The criminals of the Bush administration have already proved a danger to our democracy and our country and IMO it is getting worse.

The majority of voters did decide 2 years ago. But the system didn't work for them then. Brother Bush did.
