If you're going to wallow in the mudhole, then get your dirt straight. Saddamm is of Sunni ascestry, although not considered devout unless the camera is rollling. The Sunnis are demographically in control in central Iraq (the part not under the no-fly ban). The Kurds have the north, and the Shi'ites the south of Iraq. When Saddam's terror glue becomes unstuck with his demise, expect Iraq to break into pieces. If Iraq goes "democratic" expect the south to align politically with the Shi'ites of Iran. Expect the Kurds to want their own playpen with their Kurdish friends in Eastern Turkey. A democratic Iraq is the last thing the US wants (despite the rhetoric intended for domestic consumption).
