when all else fails, the creationists have a safety net ploy to fall back on... when "real" science gets more and more hard data that common sense cannot refute, the answer becomes "God made it look that old"... HE has his reasons that we cannot explain, maybe he's just testing our Faith?" . . . by the way,, your fearless leader Gdumbya also likes to use such "logic"

I am not sure what kind of scientific "papers" you want to see -- can you be more specific as to subject matter?? Frankly it is not a subject I spend a lot of time on -- I was convinced as a agnostic college student that evolution was unsupported by the evidence and far-fetched and irrational at best so I was not a hard sell on the subject of Creationism when I eventually became a Christian.

I believe the Bible is inspired by God and can be trusted in all things so when it says that God created the universe and all that is in it in six days, I have no problem with that, knowing that God is all powerful and can do anything He desires. If someone has a problem with God's ability to do that, the problem lies in that person's concept of the power of God -- the wonder is not that He could do it all in just six days, it is why He chose to take so long to do it, an idea that still intrigues me.

Still, if you can give me an idea of what you are looking for, I will see if I can google it over the weekend.
