Ballot shortage causes delay in Scott recall results

MUNDY TOWNSHIP, Michigan — A ballot shortage in one of the precincts in Mundy Township has caused a delay in final results from the township in the Paul Scott recall election.

Doreen Fulcher, elections supervisor for the Genesee County Clerk's Office, said the township had to use 114 paper ballots in Precinct 3 when it ran out of regular ballots in the heavy turnout. She said first-time use of new poll books also added to the delay but results are expected soon.
