I agree, late is late. I hear you on that one.
However, "why" seems important for many reasons. Primarily, an effort to at least indicate, say even the day before fins are due, that they will be late would be nice. Showing that they care for their investors. And then to indicate the reason, like, "we just didn't get around to it", or "we are pressed for time", or "the numbers are complicated by such and such...", etc... Could emphasize that care and consideration for their investors.
Taking the time to explain and reconnect with the investor in lieu of a BROKEN PROMISE would be important.
This is what the serious companies do. This is also what BB companies do... or they don't keep their investors long.
(Argh!) I want to stay invested here. I really do. But their repeated disrespect of me and the other investors is trying my last bit of patience.
