The Voice of the White House

July 7, 2005: “The explosions and carnage in London were terrible, though not as serious as the Madrid ones, but not unexpected. The Mossad had wind of this and tipped off both the U.S. and British people. Either the Anglo-Saxons people are stupid (in the case of the Brits, not so) or this was viewed, like 911, as something that would be beneficial to the Coalition to stiffen flagging British, and American, growing resistance to the war. Cynical but typical of both Bush and Blair, his head puppet. Odd it should happen right when all the leaders are in Scotland, just in time for them all to vow to fight to the bitter end. No one knows how many died and there were many hundreds of wounded, many of whom will die. Qui bono!

The Voice of the White House

July 10, 2005: “The “terrorist” attacks in London recently reek like a dead mackerel in the moonlight. It is a topic We Do Not Discuss in the Monkey Palace for very obvious reasons. Bush and Blair are suffering from meltdown. If Blair is booted out as PM, Bush would lose his most powerful ally so suddenly, another “terrorist” attack, coincidentally, just as the two liars are holding an “important” conference in Scotland (far away from any possible injury) and both rushed to the microphones to reaffirm their determination to pursue the “war on terrorism.” As it is doubtful in the extreme that the honest and competent British authorities (at least not the Blair gang) would ever do such a vicious act for political gain, the suspicions here inside the Beltway is that the Porter Goss band of trained attack dwarves have struck again. Here is some additional input for your readers to chew on:

* There was NO CHATTER detected by MI5 or MI6 preceding the blasts. The present working hypothesis is that this means the perps were British homeboys, but it could equally plausibly be because the perps were CIA. Reasons:

* High explosive is extraordinarily difficult to obtain in the UK by members of the public without

"connections." There is no mining and blasting. Military installations are under impenetrable security since the IRA campaigns of years past. The source had to be either an IRA connection (they have stockpiles of explosive) which is highly unlikely - the IRA does not involve itself with other people's issues - or a government/military connection. We may rule out the UK government/military - it is a highly socially cohesive country and no official would condone such an action. This leaves a foreign government/military. If it was one of the usual suspects (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria) there would almost certainly have been detectable chatter. That leaves an unusual suspect, highly expert at undetectable communications, and acting alone - namely, the CIA.

* Concealment and import of the explosive: The British have bomb-sniffing dogs in all airports and the Chunnel trains. How do you get around that? Answer -the diplomatic bag of a "friendly" country - the USA. It is carried by a special courier with the highest of top secret clearances, bypasses all standard checks both leaving the USA and entering Britain, and goes direct to the Embassy by Embassy vehicle. A confidential package in "the bag" for the CIA station head would not be checked by ANYONE in the USA, in British security, or in the Embassy, before being delivered to him personally.

* WHY THE SMALL SIZE of the bombs already remarked upon? Because the diplomatic courier cannot carry huge amounts of weight chained to his wrist. Four packages of 10 lbs. each for the CIA station head, or eight packages of 5 lbs., over the course of a couple of weeks, is feasible. More would be difficult.

* The people of London demonstrated in their millions against the Iraq war before it began. It is also one of the most tolerant countries towards Muslims in Europe - much more so than Germany or France. Blair is widely hated for his involvement in Iraq, like Bush in the USA. Attacking the British people for the sins of their hated leader makes no sense for Muslim radicals, unless you ARE that leader - or his ally.

The Israeli Embassy was warned of the London bomb attacks, and then the story was retracted.

Israel says Scotland Yard was warned of possible attack

07/07/2005 - 11:50:51

British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before today’s explosions they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said.

Israel was holding an economic conference near the scene of one of the explosions. Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was supposed to attend, but the attacks occurred before he arrived.

Just before the blasts, Scotland Yard called the security officer at the Israeli Embassy and said warnings of possible attacks had been received, the official said. He did not say whether British police made any link to the economic conference.

The Israeli ambassador to London said the embassy under state of emergency, with no one allowed to enter or leave.

Report: Israel Was Warned Ahead of First Blast

13:30 Jul 07, '05 / 30 Sivan 5765

(IsraelNN.com) Army Radio quoting unconfirmed reliable sources reported a short time ago that Scotland Yard had intelligence warnings of the attacks a short time before they occurred.

The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room rather than make his way to the hotel adjacent to the site of the first explosion, a Liverpool Street train station, where he was to address and economic summit.

At present, train and bus service in London have been suspended following the series of attacks. No terrorist organization has claimed responsibility at this time.

Israeli officials stress the advanced Scotland Yard warning does not in any way indicate Israel was the target in the series of apparent terror attacks.

Israeli Minister Denies Scotland Yard Warning

Thursday, July 07, 2005

JERUSALEM — Israel was not warned about possible terror attacks in London before a series of blasts ripped through the city, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom (search) said Thursday.

A Foreign Ministry official, speaking on condition of anonymity, had said earlier that British police warned the Israeli Embassy in London of possible terror attacks minutes before the first explosion.

"There was no early information about terrorist attacks," Shalom told Israel Army Radio later. "After the first explosion an order was given that no one move until things become clear. "

Israel was holding an economic conference in a hotel over the London subway stop where one of the blasts occurred. Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (search) was supposed to attend the conference, but "after the first explosion our finance minister received a request not to go anywhere," Shalom said.

He said he wasn't aware of any Israeli casualties.

The Israeli Embassy was in a state of emergency after the explosions in London, with no one allowed to enter or leave, said the Israeli ambassador to London, Zvi Hefet (search).

Israel not warned about blasts - foreign minister

07/07/2005 - 12:37:23

Israel was not warned about possible terror attacks in London before at least six blasts ripped through the city, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said today.

A Foreign Ministry official had said earlier that British police warned the Israeli Embassy in London of possible terror attacks minutes before the first explosion.

“There was no early information about terrorist attacks,” Shalom told Israel Army Radio. “After the first explosion an order was given that no one move until things become clear.”

Israel was holding an economic conference in a hotel over the underground stop where one of the blasts occurred. Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was supposed to attend the conference, but “after the first explosion our finance minister received a request not to go anywhere,” Shalom said.

He said he wasn’t aware of any Israeli casualties.

Shalom speculated that attackers might have taken advantage of the fact that police resources were diverted to a meeting of Western leaders.

The Israeli ambassador to London, Zvi Hefetz, said today that the embassy was in a state of emergency following the explosions in London, with no one allowed to enter or leave.

Danny Biran, an Israeli Foreign Ministry official, said all phone lines to the embassy were down.

The ministry has set up a situation room to deal with hundreds of phone calls from concerned relatives. Thousands of Israelis are living in London or visiting the city at this time, Biran said.

Amir Gilad, a Netanyahu aide, told Israel Radio that Netanyahu’s entourage was receiving updates all morning from British security officials, and “we have also asked to change our plans.”

Netanyahu had been scheduled to stay in London until Sunday, but that could change, Gilad said.

Netanyahu Changed Plans Due to Warning

JERUSALEM (AP) - British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before Thursday's explosions that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said.

Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had planned to attend an economic conference in a hotel over the subway stop where one of the blasts occurred, and the warning prompted him to stay in his hotel room instead, government officials said.

Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said he wasn't aware of any Israeli casualties.

Just before the blasts, Scotland Yard called the security officer at the Israeli Embassy to say they had received warnings of possible attacks, the official said. He did not say whether British police made any link to the economic conference.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the nature of his position.

The Israeli Embassy was in a state of emergency after the explosions in London, with no one allowed to enter or leave, said the Israeli ambassador to London, Zvi Hefet.

All phone lines to the embassy were down, said Danny Biran, an Israeli Foreign Ministry official.

The ministry set up a situation room to deal with hundreds of phone calls from concerned relatives. Thousands of Israelis are living in London or visiting the city at this time, Biran said.

Amir Gilad, a Netanyahu aide, told Israel Radio that Netanyahu's entourage was receiving updates all morning from British security officials, and ``we have also asked to change our plans.''

Netanyahu had been scheduled to stay in London until Sunday, but that could change, Gilad said.

Terrorism expert says at least one person tipped off to London attacks

Terrorism expert Tommy Preston of Preston Global in Frankfort, Kentucky, said sources in the intelligence community reported that at least one person in London, England was warned of Thursday morning's terrorist attacks moments before the initial blast. Preston, citing sources in the intelligence community, said former Israeli Prime Minister and current Finance Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was in London this morning for an economic forum. "Just before the first blast, Netanyahu got a call from the Israeli Embassy telling him to stay in his hotel room. The hotel is located next to the subway station where the first attack occurred and he did stay put and shortly after that, there was the explosion," Preston said.

MI5 downgrades terror threat to UK businesses

By Jimmy Burns
Published: June 7 2005 21:59 / Last updated: June 7 2005 21:59

The security service, MI5, has advised British businesses that the threat from international terrorism in the UK is lower than at any time since the September 11 terror attacks on the US.

In an advisory note to leading businesses in recent days, the terrorist threat has been downgraded from its second highest level “severe general” to a lower category of “substantial”.

Under a system agreed by the security service two years ago, businesses receive written risk assessments and regular briefings on terrorist threats. These are not made public.

Government policy is to share intelligence more broadly only if it receives reliable information of an imminent attack. “The threat from international terrorism to the UK remains real and serious,” the Home Office said on Tuesday night.

Ministers have generally preferred not to follow the US, where the government has issued public terrorism alerts. The latest advice to businesses is based on data gathered by a secretive government intelligence committee, the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre, based in central London.

However, UK security experts insist more detailed intelligence messages still coming through leave no room for complacency.

Paul Eskrit, a security adviser to the Corporation of London, said alert levels remained high in the City and around certain government buildings up until the general election amid fears the event might spark of a major terrorist attack as occurred in March last year in Spain.

“The downgrading does not offer a great deal of comfort . . . I for one am not going to advise that we relax our security systems,” he said.

Bomb scare leads to city gridlock

Tuesday, 5 July, 2005, 20:23 GMT 21:23 UK

The centre of Sheffield came to a standstill during rush hour traffic on Tuesday after a suspect bag was found outside official buildings.

Army bomb disposal units were called to Bridge Street after a package was found near Home Office buildings and the police headquarters in the city.

A 100m cordon was put around the site with main bus routes and roads closed.

Police said the city was "gridlocked" for two hours with diversions in place. The bag turned out to be a empty.

A spokesman said two controlled explosions were carried out at the scene which was also near the city's magistrates court.

Tube bombs 'almost simultaneous'

The three bombs on London underground trains "exploded almost simultaneously", say police.

Scotland Yard Deputy Assistant Commissioner Brian Paddick said the attacks took place within 50 seconds of each other.

Technical data from London Underground disproved the earlier wider range of timings between explosions.

PE-2 Terrorist Cell Fox News reported MI-5 British agents warned Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to remain in his hotel room 30 minutes prior to the London attacks.

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1120702712712

In the aftermath of the attacks, The Prime Minister's Office instructed Israeli officials not to give interviews to the foreign media.

After 9/11, Israel made some effort on international TV to impress upon the world that global terror and terror against Israelis were a common cause.

On Thursday, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom and Finance Minister Binyamin Netanhayu conveyed similar messages, but only to the Hebrew-language media.

In the international arena this time the message was the following: "It's not a story with anything to do with Israel. It's a story of international terrorism in Britain and therefore we should be quiet," according to a government source.

The source indicated that part of the reason for such circumspection stemmed from the high level of "speculation" concerning the attacks. He specifically referred to a report that came out soon after Thursday's bombings that Israel had received advance warning of the attacks, pointing to the "danger that this kind of report can bring to Israel."

The Foreign Ministry, and Israeli embassy officials at the highest levels, totally rejected the report.

What one source did note, however, was that Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu received a call from British police soon after the first explosion, but before the full extent of the attacks was known, because it had occurred by the site of a conference at which he was to speak and for which he was about to depart. After the call from the police to his security staff, Netanyahu stayed put.

One Jewish official suggested that the "conspiracy theory" about Israel's prior warning lasted all day, despite immediate official denials, because a dispute still rages about whether Israeli officials tipped off British intelligence before the Israeli Embassy was bombed in 1994.

Others made a connection with the empty 9/11 rumor that Jews had received a warning to vacate the World Trade Center before the hijacked airplanes hit.

The statement, under the name of the Secret Organisation of the al-Qaida Jihad in Europe, said: "The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern and western quarters."

It was posted on an Arabic website, al-qal3ah.com, which is registered by Qalaah Qalaah in Abu Dhabi and hosted by a server in Houston, Texas.

The server in Houston has intriguing connections. Everyone´s Internet was founded by brothers Robert and Roy Marsh in 1998 and by 2002 had an income of more than $30m (now about £17m).

Renowned for his charitable work, Roy Marsh counts among his friends President George Bush´s former sister-in-law, Sharon Bush, and the president´s navy secretary.

Everyone´s Internet, which also hosts a number of pornographic sites, states: "We support the uncensored flow of information and ideas over the internet and do not actively monitor subscriber activity under normal circumstances."

On a BBC Radio 5 interview that aired on the evening of the 7th, the host interviewed Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants, which bills itself as a ´crisis management´ advice company, better known to you and I as a PR firm.

Peter Power was a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti Terrorist Branch.

Power told the host that at the exact same time that the London bombings were taking place, his company was running a 1,000 person strong exercise which drilled the London Underground being bombed at the exact same locations, at the exact same times, as happened in real life.

But MSNBC TV translator Jacob Keryakes, who said that a copy of the message was later posted on a secular Web site, noted that the claim of responsibility contained an error in one of the Quranic verses it cited. That suggests that the claim may be phony, he said.

Efraim Halevi, THE JERUSALEM POST Jul. 7, 2005

The multiple, simultaneous explosions that took place today on the London transportation system were the work of perpetrators who had an operational capacity of considerable scope. They have come a long way since the two attacks of the year 1998 against the American embassies in Nairobi and Dar-Es-Salaam, and the aircraft actions of September 11, 2001.

There was careful planning, intelligence gathering, and a sophisticated choice of timing as well as near-perfect execution.

Underground bombs exploded within seconds: police

LONDON (AFP) - The three bombs placed in packed London Underground trains exploded seconds apart, police said, revealing a chillingly precise attack by suspected Al-Qaeda fanatics.

"It would appear now that all three bombs on the London Underground system actually exploded within seconds of each other," Commander Brian Paddick of the London Metropolitan Police said.

"In fact, the three bombs exploded almost simultaneously," he told a news conference.
