Of course we know he had them. Bush 41 armed Saddam when he thought Saddam could be used against the Iranians, and Rumsfeld boasted of Saddam as a great trading partner.

When Saddam was Hitler he was our little Hitler. When he was gassing the Kurds we refused to sanction him at the UN (Bush 1).

As for there was no evidence Saddam got rid of the WMD tell that to Colin Powell and Condi Rice before 9-11. Also tell that to Britain, Germany, France, Russia, and China who also thought he was no threat.
