Well said. Remember that during the lead up to Iraq II, the world urged restraint. They urged the Bush administration to let the UN weapons inspectors finish their job.

The Bushies said the treat was so immediate that there was no time to wait. They claimed Saddam could lob missiles at us on 45 minutes notice. Remember the 45 minute threat? That was up their with the 500k lbs (or was that tons) of sarin nerve and mustard gas. Then they said war couldn't wait because summer was approaching, and conditions in Iraq made it very difficult for US troops to fight with all their armour. 2+ years later, you have to wonder how many summers will our troops suffer through, and how many more will die.
