Now there is a Bogeyman. Economics generally trumps all in the long run. We should be concerned....we laughed Japan off in the 60's. Their cute little tin toys were cheap and plentiful. No one felt threatened even as Datsun, Honda and Toyota started sending their "little toy" cars over to the USA.
