Kennedy was going to get out of Vietnam after the elections as he saw a no-win situation. Millions of lives would have been saved if LBJ did not escalate the war. Bush and this administration are believing their own propaganda. As the death toll climbs and the Iraqi's continue to resent the occupation the level and sophistication of their attacks will get stronger. More lives will be lost at a higher pace. American's will not put up with it much longer as we now know it was all based on a lie and making little georgie look tough and fulfill his dream as a "War President."
