OK Duke, maybe he is addressing it, but my point still stands. Are we to take AMD's word at face value, or can we assume an unhealthy dose of exaggeration in it? The charge over the compiler is outrageous, especially when AMD claims it "degrades" performance on AMD processors. That implies an active effort by Intel to handicap performance, which is ludicrous.
